So far holidays have been pretty fun..managed to watch a few episodes of Code Geass R2 and also the first eight of Rental Magica~
I know my pace is pretty slow...
but because I was trying to revive my drawing skills...not like they were ever somewhat alive though...
And I really wanna thank God for this...
I was just talking to my mate about how I need cash and how I wish this holidays there will be another opportunity for me to make some trough a competition or something like that...since I only have 2 weeks off and that is like sooo insufficiant because no one would wanna take in a kid who is only gonna work for what, 10 days?!
and really I thank God for answering my prayer...
last sunday in the papers there was a new competition..
a manga character design this time round...
a character inspired buy the sea...It's a collab with WWF M'sia...and yes the save animals WWF, the other one is now called WWE, right?!

still remember how people would often get confused how can something soo different have the same abbreviation...kinda reminds me of SPM (Sijil Penilaian Menengah and Syarikat Permainan Malaysia)
but anyways back to the topics beforehand...
I already fabricated my character or so call...
and I decided to draw a guardian to the sea...
since kinda inline with the saving our sea thing going on...
But seriously the first thing that came to mind when I think of manga character and sea is a guardian to the sea...since I pretty much stink and suck to the bottom of the sea at drawing animals...

and this time I decided to go with a chibi entry...since "small is powerful"...
watching children programmes do alter your mindset...
besides the sea/ocean/that whole lot of water around us is freaking huge...BIG...Okiiiiii na~
To me if someone would have supreme power over something that large would have to be a GIANT~
In other words really powerful...
but once again refering back to the organisers of the contest I thought it would be nice to do a character that can be related to...
A guardian that does little things, and proving that little things can infact make a BIG difference...
A chibi also is pretty approachable...kids will find it cute and so will the non-kids...lol
Something abstract might not interest the little ones...
At least that is what I have learnt from teaching the kids in church...
and besides for the older ones, they still go how cute when they see a chibi so whats to lose...
But actually all this analysing only came after I did the rough sketches...(I have started to develop a habit of thinking while sketching)
I just wanted and felt like drawing a chibi...

Oops..forgot to state taht the character I created is called UMIKO...

since,
海 >>> umi(sea/ocean)
子 >>> ko(child)
and yes those are japanese words(characters)...incase u haven't notice...

nothing much lah not even worth bragging actually...but just because I haven't done one in a long time...

There is a faithful little helper always by her side...haven't really thought of a name for him yet was thinking something to do with the sea like, kai (?!)
as in shell...I kinda like kai since it is also often use and written the same way as umi...海
of something like ashika/umiro...a sea lion...
I'll have to decide and figure it out soon...

anyways...I started my driving lessons already...been for three hours now...
and I still can't seem to get hold of the balancing stuff...I hate the clutch and the hand break...always make my car jump...but I went on road today....and God was I scared I prayed so hard that nothing bad would happen and thank God...alot of cars had to cut out of my lane when I stopped at the traffic light and had to go back to gear one and slowly release clutch again to get moving when light turned green...how do people do this...(???)
and it was a pretty long drive about 30 minutes or so..
but I performed better on the road then inside the driving centre compound...I could do the balancing stuff all but then when go back to centre and do on their slope I kept getting difficulties letting go of clucth while accelerate but aren't we supposed to not do that so I'm confused...X3

and the hand break so hard to pull down..sometimes can and sometimes can't...

So pretty much thats it for now la...

this weekend going back to my grandparent's place...
soooooo long never see my amma~
well my dad's mum was up here in KL a few weeks back so I saw her but not my mum's...
and also means that I shall be scouting for platforms..ehehehe...
I wanna get a platform sandal this time...since the high heel susah nak pakai when at college and summor have to walk to take bus...
I'm not sayign I will fall...but sakit la...whole day in those shoes can kill wei~
3 inch is no joke...
So I hope to get flat platforms...
and maybe i can modify it abit to look like a Kamatari's Geta...I'm too short to play him...
change the sandal's part where leg go through(dunno what it called)
put some nice stuffed red cloth...
and I also really dying to wear sandals to college shoes can be pretty uncomfortable after a while...
but wun be everyday wear la...mummy thinks it is unproper clothing but hey everyone else is doing it~

and I also told mummy about my eyesight last Sunday(Father's day)
and she was pretty angry but she was surprised that I was short sighted...
but isn't that what most people have?!
and she blames my drawing hobby~
kinda expected though...
So I might or might not be getting specs...
I told her that I can still read if I sit in front...
and only blurry when sit at the back...
but no matter what I think I will be needing aids to help me see pretty soon...
I wan't contacts...not because I'm vain or anything like that...I'm everything but vain...
I just like trying new things...but probably if I get contacts then my long nails are well, sayonara ware no tomodachiyo...
But specs sound pretty fun too...
only that I'm a little freaked out at how my friend reacted...when I told him my eyesight is getting worst...
he was like "cool...get glasses...girls look hotter in glasses..."
I was like...

and didn't want glasses after that~
But colour contacts are still my main goal....a crimson red one would be nice oo..or white/silver contacts...but a nice aqua blue one will do fine..really have no idea what my mum would say if I told her I want red contacts...

okies...
so I guess I wrote quite a lot already~
Even during my holidays I can't posty everyday...what has happen to my life since when did it come so filled up with activities...
how I remember those days when I was on real break, those six months of JOY after SPM...
well..that is the past I guess...
